The relatively boring details first

We are located in Kernersville, North Carolina. Exact address will be sent to you after hatch. 

We do not ship or meet up outside Kernersville for chicks.

Pick up must be within 24 hours of the date for which you sign up, or we reserve the right to reach out to others, and you will lose your deposit.

Also save a box or two to bring, vented, or carriers for transport.

A $1 non-refundable deposit is due for each individual chick for which you sign up. We prefer Venmo or Cash App. Please check your calendar for your availability before signing up so you don't lose your deposit due to not being able to pick up.

Balance of payment due in full at pick up. 

We accept Venmo, Cash App & cash. 

There is a 5 chick order minimum.

Unless otherwise noted, almost all of our chicks are sold as Straight Run, or "SR", which means that we cannot tell the gender at hatch.

*We will not be selling hatching eggs until later this year.

We are NPIP certified and AI tested clean. 

with their quirky, cheeky muffs, our Ameraucana lay a lot of pretty blue eggs and are easily the cutest chicks on the farm. Our girls are very sweet and the roosters are stunning with their pearly white plumage and bright red pea combs. SR 

 (ah-YAM seh-MAH-nee) - dark and mysterious, these chickens are all black except for their blood. We especially love the sleek green sheen look of the roos and their fancy black combs. The hens are curious and social. Not heavy egg layers, we are pleased with our girls ability to lay medium cream color eggs with big yellow yolks. SR 

(BEE-leh-fel-der) - this breed is auto-sexing, so we can tell right away which are hens. These are also a gentle breed, great layer of large brown eggs and very popular. The personality of the hens and roosters are so gentle & sweet. These are wonderful for any backyard flock. $19 F, $1 M

fluffy golden yellow gentle hens who will waddle cheerfully through your yard also make excellent mothers (less friendly during this stage). This gentle breed is great for families with young children. The hens lay brown eggs regularly and the roos are beautiful and watchful of their flock. SR. 

(NEE-der-RYE-ner) - a gentle, beautiful breed, the girls lay light brown eggs regularly and the roosters are easy going and a little shy. These mature quickly and make a very nice dual purpose bird (eggs / meat). They are an extremely rare breed and we don't understand why! We love them! SR  

these roosters are gorgeous and our absolute favorites here for their ability to keep a good eye on their girls. These rare birds were created by Martin Silverudd, a brilliant Swedish pastor who created other gorgeous breeds. Our stock was carefully selected from a quality breeder and are genetically confirmed to lay their blue/green eggs. SR
